Considering purchasing obscure silver coins
From http://www.realityzone.com/libertatems.html
Despite the fact that they are expensive, would there be any concern about trying to trade them? Seeing as they are not a well-known brand? Also what is a way to test the purity of silver without having to melt it and without using calipers and a scale? I was thinking maybe I could test it in front of the person I was trading it to so they would know it was real silver. |

Generic 1oz rounds.

There are some cool older rounds from different empires, if you are into history.
But honestly, as a history buff, unless something was VERY special, I wouldn't ever pay more than double spot for a coin. And never in bulk. I might do a 1-time purchase, for a "lucky" coin, but nothing more. |
